D.A.R.E. is a program which is a K-12 teaching about drugs. D.A.R.E. was first implemented back in 1983 as a joint effort between the Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles Unified School District. They go to a lot of schools and teach young kids information about harmful substances to stay away from. The D.A.R.E. program has taught information to over 200 million K-12 students since its existence.
